We ran beginners concertina workshops and performed at FolkEast this year. The workshops were well attended and participants were able to try Anglo or English concertinas. Most of the participants had never played a concertina before, but most of them were able to attempt a simple tune by the end of the session.
After the workshop we performed a number of concertina band arrangments. Our members played treble, baritone, bass and miniature instruments. The audience enjoyed listening to the tunes and we were pleased with our applause.
Turn on (and off) each player in turn to hear the tunes we performed.
